Renee Cosette Pedersen is a luxury stylist and consultant with a passion for art, fashion, design, and creating elevated client experiences. With more than 20 years in the luxury industry, she began her career at 15, learning every facet of boutique life—from operations to styling—shaping her intuitive, relationship-driven approach to the luxury world.
Her foundation was built at Joseph Stores, a boutique renowned for carrying designers such as Christian Louboutin, Chloé, vintage Chanel, Valentino, and more. There, she refined her understanding of luxury brands, styling, merchandising, and clienteling.
In 2005, Renee was hired as a manager and personal assistant for a French boutique in Midtown Houston, gaining rare hands-on experience launching a store from the ground up. She traveled to MAGIC Market Week in Las Vegas, met with European vendors, assisted with buying, selected installations, designed interior elements, & oversaw merchandising and launch operations.
Following several years in retail, she deepened her creative and leadership foundation through work with humanitarian organizations, coordinating seminars and relief trips across the U.S., South America, and Haiti. Inspired by her love for humanity and culture, she pursued entrepreneurial projects—exploring early e-commerce and developing brand concepts shaped by the people and experiences she encountered along the way.
In her 30s, Renee returned to luxury fashion with stylist and client advisor roles at Prada and Max Mara, working for top luxury houses before transitioning into freelancing within the art and design space. This chapter ultimately led her to found The Muse Emporium in 2016, a multidisciplinary art and design consulting studio specializing in one-of-a-kind pop-up art events, consulting, curation, and creative collaborations. Her work has been showcased at Art Basel, SCOPE Art Show, Facebook Headquarters, and Instagram.
Today, Renee is a Client Advisor & Stylist at VALENTINO, shaped by her experience across creative luxury industries and an intuitive approach to styling. Guided by a love for fashion and the art of meaningful customer service, she meets each appointment with sincerity, intention, and care. Now working within a Maison she once dreamed of joining, she shines in clienteling and in creating experiences that feel effortless, refined, and truly special.
